This is one method of tying soft hackles using feathers that are too large. More flies and info at www.parksflyshop.com RECIPE Hook: #14 short shank dry. Thread: 140 denier fl. fire orange. Hackle: barbs from a Sharptail grouse body feather. Body: tan Hare's Ice Dub with some thread showing through.
