A new film from Church Army describes the ethos of the society in the words of several of its retired evangelists. The film features Frank Collier, Rosalie Jacobs, John Smith, Joan Hudspeth, Don Woodhouse, and sisters Lily and Elsie Thrush. Each of these Church Army Evangelists was commissioned over 50 years ago, and they talk with passion and pride about the family atmosphere of the organisation founded by Wilson Carlile in 1882.
