Great Horned Owl at Coyote Point Museum Our Great Horned owl was found as an adult living in the wild with a wing injury. She is missing half of her left wing and cannot survive on her own. Here you'll see her taking a bath. This activity is part of the enrichment that wildlife keepers provide for the animals.
Great Horned Owl nesting in an old sycamore tree in Little Chiques Park, Mount Joy, PA. This is the second year in a row this owl family used this tear-drop cavity for their home. There are two babies again this year. Video taken 4/3/12. The tree sits to the left (along the creek) when you enter the first parking lot area in the park.
