The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Tuesday said the quakes occurred after Taal Volcano in Batangas and Mayon Volcano in Albay showed signs of activity last weekend. "Bulusan Volcano's seismic network recorded six volcanic earthquakes during the past 24 hours.
