Rangers Football Club have applied to go into administration. The SPL Champions lodged notice at the Court of Session this lunchtime. And tonight the Ibrox club stated the tax bill they owe could be substantially more than the fifty million pounds that's been widely reported. That's fifty million pounds the club can't afford pay. Well, within ten days administrators will move in to run Rangers, who'll be deducted ten league points. In other news: The First Minister says that 'modest progress' has been made between the Scottish and UK Government's as they try to find a common approach to holding a referendum on Scottish Independence; The fathers of two murdered children have joined campaigners to call for tighter global gun sale controls. In sport: Rangers Football Club formed 140 years ago in 1872, but today Monday, February the 13th could go down as one of the darkest days in the club's history.
