On this episode of The Spangler Effect, 10000 screaming students, parents and teachers packed into Coors Field in Denver, Colorado to see one of the largest, outdoor science lessons ever taught. Armed with two giant cylinders of helium, a massive weather balloon, sophisticated tracking hardware, and a string of GoPro cameras, Spangler and his friends at Edge of Space Sciences made a historic launch from the middle of downtown Denver on May 2, 2012. The flight took 2 hours and 36 minutes from lift off to touch down... and it reached at height of 93715 feet above earth. Watch the full two and a half hour flight from all three GoPros aboard flight EOSS-175 - youtu.be Learn more about Edge of Space Sciences - eoss.org
