If you like to see really cool RC float planes then you should plan on being at the Midwest Regional Float Fly each year held the weekend after Labor Day in Michigan. I've been going to this even hosted by the Skymasters. They do a great job! This year, a guy who has designed some of the coolest planes ever, Laddie Mikulasko was there flying his Shearwater.
