Justin & Duen visit Bishop Museum's Entomology Department Stalk Eyed Fly Scorpions Walking Sticks
Justin and Duen visited Bishop Museum's Entomology Department on 27 March 2009. They have 13.5 million bugs!! Amazing! I was especially pleased to discover that they had a nice collection of stalk-eyed flies, which I believe have better stereoscopic vision. I therefore presume they are predators. Justin really liked the scorpions. Bishop Museum is located in Honolulu, HI www.bishopmuseum.org This was a special behind the scenes tour by Shar, a staff member of the museum. I won this tour at my orchestra's Christmas Party's silent auction. Shar and I (Duen) both play violin.
