Cool Night images

Some cool night images:

One Night in EPCOT, Part III
 night
Time: 9:43 pm

I’m always amazed how quickly World Showcase clears out after IllumiNations. By the time we broke down the tripods and removed our ND filters, the place already was starting to look like a ghost town. By the time we chatted for a few minutes, there was hardly anyone around at all. This is my favorite time at Epcot.

After closing, the magic of Epcot really comes alive for me. Without the droves and people, and with the beautiful lighting of the pavilions, everything just seems more authentic. If you go towards the back of almost any pavilion at night, it really does start to feel like you are visiting that country. Your senses are a bit heightened to the details since you are not looking over hundreds of other guests, and especially in the summer, the cool(er) night air is a welcome relief.

On this night, Carrie knew she would be bored with our photography exploits, so Jeff and I parted ways with her. I think she shopped her way back to the entrance while we, of course, photographed our way back. We started in Japan, where I captured this image down the now brightly lit pathway.

After shooting for about an hour, we we’re headed out of World Showcase but were caught by the bridge at Equatorial Africa, or the Outpost, or whatever it’s called. After waiting for quite a while for the globe and other boats to make their departure, I said goodbye to Jeff at China because it was simply calling my name to take at least one shot (Jeff had some bogus excuse like work the next day, what’s up with that?).

I thought that this would be the end of my photography adventure, but then again, Future World was completely empty with no cast members in sight. The adventure continued…

Cycling Bike at Night
 night
epSos.de was cycling this classic, specialized exercise bike for the three happy years, before it was stolen by a heartless person. This picture was created for my fast cycling friend epSos.de and can be used for FREE.

Warm streams of fast wind polished the skin while riding the road on this bike. It was almost music to exercise on the long evenings that were colored with the happiness of a glowing red sky.

Racing on the trek of competition was fun and easy on this classic trekking bike, because it's bicycle parts were specialized for speed and agility.

The long exposure in this picture is very hard, because the background does compete with the glowing reflections of the safety parts from the bicycle.
