My great-nephew, Zach, and his mom visited from Charleston over the weekend. It was their first trip up since he turned 18 in January. I gave him this 1960's vintage Gretsch guitar that had belonged to his grandfather (my late brother). The guitar had been promised to Zach since he was 12, or so, with the agreement that it would be his when he turned 18. Zach is a senior in high school. He plans a future with the U.S. Marines. I'm very proud of him.
