A few nice flower images I found:
Flowers (Lake Sailimu, aka Sayram)

There're many yellow and pink flowers arround the lake. Looks very beautiful. To capture the flowers, I almost put my camera on the ground. The best time to visit here will be middle or end of May.
Dogwood flowers after bracts and petals are gone
This is an extreme crop job. There won't be any large sizes. Dogwood (Cornus florida) flowers come in a flowering head, with 20 or so tiny flowers together, surrounded by four large bracts -- modified leaves -- see photo in the comment below. The flowers have all the flower parts. But by mid-April, at least in 2012, the bracts, and the petals, and the anthers, are gone. The stigmas and styles are clearly visible, as are the sepals. As time progresses, the ovaries, which are the green structures under the sepals, will develop into bright red fruits, each with a single seed. But that's a while yet.
For more on dogwoods, see my Dogwoods set. We're glad to have three of these small trees, one with pink bracts, two with white. Thanks for looking.
Depth of Flower Field

Some crazy depth of field/focus going on here.
Taken while visiting The Flower Fields.
